Information for VISTAS Authors

If you presented a program at the 2008 NCDA Global Conference in Washington, DC, you are eligible to submit a paper for possible inclusion in VISTAS Online. VISTAS is an innovative publication and Internet resource produced for ACA by Counseling Outfitters, LLC. It captures the ideas, information, and experiences generated by the annual ACA conventions—and, for the second year, NCDA conventions as well!

New this year— your paper will also be reviewed for possible inclusion in Compelling Counseling Interventions , a peer-reviewed print publication containing the top 25-30 papers selected for VISTAS Online 2009.

DUE TO RECENT WEB SITE PROBLEMS VISTAS 2009 DEADLINE EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 27, 2009.

All authors whose papers are selected for inclusion in VISTAS 2009, whether for the print publication or online version only, will be invited to the annual ACA VISTAS Authors’ invitation-only reception at the conference in Charlotte, NC. This reception will feature presentations by major ACA and Divisional leaders and selected VISTS authors.During the reception, a group photo will be taken which will be made available to attendees and used in future national and local publications. Further information on the date and location of the reception will be provided in future communications.
